How we increased visibility for an estate agent by 1240%
We were approached by a Galway-based real estate agent seeking assistance with digital marketing.
They operate in a highly competitive Irish Property market where appearing prominently on Google can make the difference between success and failure.

With property portals, national brands, and established local competitors all fighting for the same search base, achieving sustainable organic growth requires more than simply targeting a handful of keywords.
Since July 2022, Altitude Internet has worked on developing organic search presence for this estate agent, focusing on building long-term visibility and creating a website capable of competing for valuable property-related searches.
The results have been significant.
When we started the project, they only ranked for five keywords across Google; fast forward to now, they are now ranking on 67 first-page keywords.
That’s a 1240% increase in their first-page visibility. Rather than relying on just one or two high-performing search terms, we built a substantially broader footprint across Google’s first page for a whole basket of keywords.
Real Estate in Ireland is an exceptionally competitive search environment.
Independently, estate agents aren’t simply competing against other local agencies; they also have to contend with the major property portals, the aggregators, the map results, the paid advertising, and Google’s continually evolving search results.
Throughout these years, Google’s core algorithm updates created considerable volatility within the Property sector.
The objective wasn’t simply to generate a temporary spike in their rankings but to build a sustainable SEO foundation capable of increasing visibility in the long-term whilst continuing to perform through changes to Google algorithms and the search landscape.
Our SEO strategy focused on steadily increasing the client’s website authority and relevance for search visibility.
This included strengthening technical SEO foundations, continually improving and expanding its content, targeting relevant search opportunities, and ensuring that the website remained aligned with Google’s evolving ranking signals.
Rather than concentrating exclusively on a small number of headline keywords, our strategy was designed to improve the overall search footprint.
And that approach has certainly delivered.
The growth isn’t slowing down either; with long-term ranking growth more important than ever, Google Search Console data demonstrates that traffic over the last six months is up 9%, impressions are up 47%, and the average position on the page has improved by 22%.
An additional 75,000 impressions were generated over the last quarter alone.
The results become even more impressive when considered against the backdrop of a wider search environment.
Industry data highlights significant volatility within the real estate search results sector following recent Google algorithm updates, with many property Websites experiencing significant organic visibility in decline.
Against that backdrop, our client achieved the opposite.
While many businesses struggle to maintain their existing organic presence, we have expanded with significant gains in keyword average positions and also the number of ranking keywords.
This demonstrates that a consistent, long-term SEO strategy can achieve significant results.
